About Collars by Design

I started Collars by Design in 2009 when my husband and I adopted an eight week old kitten named Cricket. Being the rambunctious, wild kitten that he was, he badly needed a collar. I searched high and low and couldn't find a collar that was as cute as Cricket, so I began making my own. We have since rescued an orange tabby cat named Knuckles and a Goldendoodle named Winnie. Poppy, a mini Goldendoodle, joined the pack in 2021.

Let's face it, dogs love to play and get dirty. That's why my collars are made to last using only the best materials available such as designer fabrics, durable buckles and heavy duty d-rings. These collars are meant to take a beating!

I spend a lot of time hunting down the coolest, hippest fabric that I can find and love the fact that your pup will be the hippest dog on the block. I love unique designs and aim to have several different styles available so that you're able to find the perfect custom dog collar to match your pup's personality. I make every item in my studio in Temecula, CA. All items are made to order. I truly love what I do and hope it shows in every item I make.
